I found a funny-looking chip this afternoon. I think I like the second picture the best, but you should tell me which one you prefer.

The second one has the most color, in my opinion.

Here are a couple more.

11 Miles

What if someone told you that you had 11 miles to live? And what if you were in a car that was traveling at 75 mph? I have the impression that most of us would stop the car and sit outside for a while. We would probably call the people that we haven't talked to in a long time. Maybe we would tell them that we were sorry for past grievances. Or maybe we would just chat for a couple of hours. We would probably spend as much time possible sitting on the side of the road, avoiding going any further. If we were smart, most of us would turn around and drive the other way.

You may think I am crazy for even thinking about something like that. Well, the thought dawned on me as I was driving home from Grand Junction today. Okay, so I wasn't driving, but that doesn't matter.

You see, my sister had a friend who got in a car accident a little over a year ago and died. He was the type of person that I strive to be. Super Jesus-like and always friendly. I know that even though I never met him.

Anyways, we drove past the place where the accident happened today. I knew the number of the mile marker where it happened at and watched the numbers slowly keep counting up until we were 11 miles away from it. It was at this point that I thought, what if Jesus had told him, "You are going to get in a car accident and not make it out in 11 miles."  I actually think that this particular young man would have been like, "Okay, Lord. No problem."

I swear there is a point to all of this rambling. Usually Jesus doesn't just tell us when our last moments are going to happen. At least not unless you're this guy. So, I think that we should live every moment with that 11 miles in mind.

Thinking about this today helped me and Jesus reconnect again. It was getting pretty bad. And by that I mean the effort I was putting into our relationship. But God always knows what He's doing, and he never gives up on me. :) I like that about Him. So here are some much needed pictures now. Haha.

I edited the first two a little bit.

One of my all time fave songs.

I know they aren't that great. I have been taking a lot and I just chose some random ones. And, that pretty much sums up everything. Thanks for listening folks.
